Explore locationJoin us as a Network Security Governance Lead at Barclays where you will spearhead to provide a primary liaison service between the business, technology, and security functions. To ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, and support the mitigation of security risk.
To be successful as a Network Security Governance Lead, you should have experience with:
Strong understanding of Information and Cyber Security policies, standards, and control frameworks.
Good knowledge of governance, risk management, compliance monitoring, and assurance processes.
Experience in tracking and reporting KPIs, KCIs, KRIs, audit findings, remediation actions, and control monitoring activities.
Practical knowledge or hands-on experience with network security products, technologies, and related controls.
Understanding of security audits, control assessments, security standards, frameworks, incident management, and threat awareness.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and support remediation, reporting, and governance activities
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Professional certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant network/security certifications.
Hands-on experience in governance, audit, security standards, control frameworks, and network security environments.
Exposure to cybersecurity incident response, threat monitoring, and emerging security risks.
Ability to support awareness content, training sessions, and stakeholder communication on cyber risk and security controls.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
