Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Product Engineer - Messaging role, you’ll be responsible for designing robust messaging solutions, contributing to technical initiatives, and supporting the evolution of our enterprise communication platforms. This role demands a strong architectural mindset, hands-on expertise, and the ability to produce high-quality documentation and collaborate across teams. To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience in solution design and documentation within enterprise messaging environments.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, and Exchange On-Prem.
Expertise in Proofpoint PoD and PPS, Mimecast, and Google Workspace administration.
Proficiency in programming and scripting for automation and reporting.
Experience with MS Entra Connect, including hybrid identity management and directory sync.
Familiarity with RBAC models in Azure and M365 Admin Center.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Security & Compliance Center and M365 Defender Suite (Defender for Office 365, Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud Apps).
Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD, version control (e.g., Git), and infrastructure automation.
Working knowledge of ITIL framework in a service operations context.
Experience with Confluence and Jira for documentation and agile delivery.

Certifications in M365 Services
Experience with Teams, SharePoint Online, and broader M365 suite.

This role is based in our Pune office.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
