To be successful as a “Python GenAI Developer – AWS Bedrock & AI Platforms", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of hands-on software development experience with strong proficiency in Python, including API development, object-oriented programming, testing, and code optimization.

• Experience building Generative AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, AI agents, and conversational AI solutions.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and related AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and Step Functions.

• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise applications, databases, and cloud services.

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including CI/CD, Git, code reviews, DevOps automation, and agile development methodologies.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

• Experience with Bedrock KnowledgeBase, FAISS, ChromaDB, or other vector database technologies.

• Experience with React, Angular, or modern front-end frameworks for building AI-powered user interfaces.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and cloud-native application architectures.

• AWS Cloud, AWS AI/ML, or Generative AI related certifications.

This role will be based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
