To be successful as a "QA & Governance Analyst", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in suggesting and then implementing operational process improvements to deliver a better service for stakeholders and/or to improve efficiency

  • Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and with senior stakeholders.

  • Extensive experience and knowledge in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of tools

  • Experienced in influencing and negotiating with senior level stakeholders (up to and including MD).

  • Considerable experience and knowledge of conducting independent assurance / governance reviewsExceptional Attention to Detail

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

  • Experienced at setting ambitious goals and translating into clear objectives and performance plans.

  • Experience of managing and handling confidential information; understanding the need for confidentiality in relation to sensitive investigations such as whistleblowing. 

  • Demonstrate ability to operate under pressure with demanding concurrent deliverables 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to ensure that practices in the management of QA and Governance reviews develop and change in line with legal, regulatory and industry practices

  • Experience of managing QA and Governance reviews, and / or conducting QA and Governance reviews in a regulated environment.  This experience gained in either a corporate, military or law enforcement environment.

  • Expert knowledge of case management and why it is required from a judicial, regulatory and business perspective.

  • Clear understanding of global data privacy and data protection regulations.

This role will be based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To determine, negotiate and agree internal quality procedures, service standards and specification to improve performance and quality directing objectives. 

Accountabilities

  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in quality assurance Services.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate quality assurance processes.
  • Development and governance of internal quality assurance procedures, standards and specifications, and act as a catalyst for change, mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.
  • Development of reports and presentations on quality assurance performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in quality assurance processes and provide feedback and coaching for colleagues on these highlighted areas.
  • Execution of service quality assessments to monitor the quality objectives set by the bank, and ensure they comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve quality assurance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Determination of risk based on outcome of QA reviews, flagging risks that are outside of tolerance.

  • Make evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail.
  • Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
  • Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex / sensitive information.
  • Act as contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside team and external to the organisation.
