To be successful as a “Quality Assurance -QA (Reg Reporting) ", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Testing: Good understanding of Testing Techniques (BVA, Equivalence partitioning, State transition), basic Unix commands, excel macros, Defect life cycle, JIRA X-ray and traceability.
Test Automation: core java, SQL server (more importantly complex SQL queries), XML (x-path creation and reading), Jenkins job parameterization and execution, JUnit (Mockito and Mockit) and SonarQube integration to test individual services Java, SQL, and Automation Testing
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
To test/deliver the strategic reporting architecture with feeds from authoritative data source into local reporting systems, removing workarounds put in place as controls to mitigate the current reporting gaps.
creating Test Bed/Test Harness for system testing/integration testing.
Experience in Regression testing to do end to end testing to make sure that the changes done are not impacting existing production environment.
Strong analytical abilities , Excellent Communication Skills along with good interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively, able to perform under pressure, flexible to accommodate extended working hours.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Knowledge on Trading Applications and Experience in its testing/support of reporting for reconciliation/ Regulatory Reporting is preferred
Knowledge/Awareness of cucumber, API testing, Investment banking basics and basic knowledge of regulatory reporting for regulators like MiFID, JFSA, MMSR, SFTR, ESMA, FCA, etc.
This role will be based out of Pune.
