To be successful as a Scrum Master you should have experience with:
Scrum & Agile Knowledge
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
Deep understanding of Scrum framework, roles, events, and artifacts
Experience implementing agile methodologies in IT environments
Ability to coach teams on agile principles and practices
Technical Expertise
Previous experience in technical roles (developer, QA, etc.)
Understanding of architecture and system design principles
Experience with DevOps practices and tools
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Some other highly valued skills includes:
Basic understanding of software programming – Java, UNIX, API and database
Familiarity with development tools and practices (Git)
Hands-on execution on software development lifecycle
Prioritize automated testing and CI/CD pipeline health
Establish clear non-functional requirements early (performance, security, scalability)
Implement feature flags to decouple deployment from release
Maintain living documentation that evolves with the codebase
Knowledge of technical dependencies and integration points
Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To manage the efficient delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, adhering to agreed time, budget and quality requirements.
