Explore locationJoin us as an Security Engineer VP at Barclays where you will spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.
To be successful as an Security Engineer VP , you should have experience with:
Strong Python development skills (writing production-quality, maintainable code)
Experience designing, consuming, and integrating APIs
Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tooling (CI/CD, GitLab, containerization, IaC)
Experience with Splunk SOAR (or similar SOAR platforms)
Experience with Azure Logic Apps or comparable workflow/orchestration tools
Solid foundation in core security concepts (threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management)
Proven experience leading or mentoring a team, formally or informally
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, given Logic Apps usage; AWS/GCP a plus)
Familiarity with SIEM platforms (Splunk in particular)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep)
Scripting/automation experience beyond Python (PowerShell, Bash)
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, GCIH, Security+, Azure Security Engineer)
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments

The role is based out of Pune.
