Senior DevOps Engineer

To be successful as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you should have experience with:

·    Deep hands-on expertise designing and operating enterprise CI/CD with GitLab and Harness, including complex deployment workflows and reusable delivery patterns.

·    Advanced Kubernetes and container engineering experience across production environments, with strong knowledge of Docker, Helm and cloud-native workload operations.

·    Strong AWS experience supporting secure, highly available and scalable platforms; relevant experience with multi-account and multi-region patterns is expected.

·    Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience, including modules, automated testing, policy enforcement, state and dependency management.

·    Practical DevSecOps expertise across identity and access, secrets, vulnerability management, artefact integrity, security scanning and compliance evidence.

·    Strong knowledge of distributed systems and operational considerations for Kafka, Flink, Redis and MongoDB.

·    Experience building observability and reliability practices across metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, SLI/SLO management and incident response.

·    Strong software engineering and scripting capability in at least one general-purpose language, plus shell or Python automation.

·    Proven test-first approach covering unit, contract, integration, performance/load, resilience and mutation testing, with automation embedded in delivery pipelines.

·    Practical experience adopting AI-assisted engineering and/or AIOps with appropriate security, validation and governance controls.

·    Experience working in Agile delivery models and using Jira for planning, execution, risk and dependency tracking.

·    Introduce AIOps capabilities for anomaly detection, alert correlation, noise reduction, predictive capacity insights and automated remediation, with clear safeguards, fallback paths and auditability.

·    Establish evaluation criteria for AI-assisted engineering outputs, including correctness, security, reliability, maintainability, hallucination risk, traceability and measurable productivity benefit.

• Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget.

• Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity.
• Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
• Enforcement of technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
