To be successful as a Senior ETL Developer, you should have experience with:
Ability to design end-to-end ETL architecture and data integration frameworks.
Experience in data modelling, data lineage, and metadata management.
Strong expertise in ETL tools (preferably Ab Initio, Informatica, Talend) with focus on designing scalable and reusable data pipelines.
Hands-on experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and data storage concepts.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).
Strong focus on performance optimization, scalability, and fault tolerance.
Understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in SQL (advanced level) for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
The role is based out of Pune.
