Join us as a Senior Full Stack Java Developer-VP, we are seeking an Expert Core Java developer with solid knowledge of low-level multithreading, low level networking, for designing and developing high performing, scalable and rich server-side exchange connectivity components for Equities trading applications to be used by electronic trading desk. The role holder will be self-motivated individual able to collaborate with a global development team to facilitate development of exchange connectivity modules in line with business/regulatory and technology requirements.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot.

  • Experience building microservices and REST APIs.

  • Strong understanding of multithreading, software design patterns, performance tuning, logging, debugging.

  • Solid understanding of distributed architecture and cloud-native principles.

  • Good knowledge of React/Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.

  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

  • Working knowledge of Kafka / Solace / MQ / JMS.

  • Strong experience with DevOps toolchains (GitLab/Jenkins CI/CD, Sonar) and cloud-native deployments.

  • Experience with: Unit, integration and automated functional testing.

  • Ability to lead technical delivery end‑to‑end, from requirement understanding to production rollout.

  • Proven experience in working closely with Product Owners, BAs, QA, and global stakeholders.

  • Strong stakeholder management, with ability to influence and negotiate at all levels (business + technology).

  • Experience driving solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, promote best practices, and uplift engineering standards.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Strong ownership mindset with ability to operate independently and proactively.

  • Ability to manage priorities, risks, and dependencies in a fast-paced environment.

Some of Highly Valued Skills may include:

  • Experience with 3Forge – strong plus.

  • Experience in investment banking / trading domains.

  • Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) and distributed caching (Redis, Ignite).

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
