To be successful as a Software Engineer you should have experience with:
Experience in Java development with strong understanding of Object Oriented Design using Java and Experience in Java 1.8, strong working experience in Java/JEE, Spring boot, Agile & DevOps enabled projects and design skills.
Strong experience in Java/J2ee, Spring Framework, Middle-ware development, Java 8 features
experience building application over AWS cloud using AWS cloud native services like Step Function, Lambda, AWS SDK, AWS CLI, Dynamo DB, AWS Serverless., ECS, Terraform
Hands on experience on developing REST API.
Working knowledge of Enterprise tools like Kibana, Jira, Confluence, AppDynamics, Bitbucket.
Exposure to DevOps - Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, GitHub, Bitbucket, Openshift
Strong technical background with detail driven and excellent problem solving abilities Presentation skills and aptitude to learn tools/apps/processes/domains.
Ability to articulate thoughts spoken/written with teams and do proper status reporting and estimations.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Hands-on experience in delivering end to end value addition.
Stakeholder management
Good technical plus ability to drive technical discussion and decision.
Mentoring and directing the team.
