To be successful as a Software Engineer , you should have experience with:
To design, develop and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Develop and maintain Salesforce components using Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
Design and implement third-party integrations and Salesforce APIs. Alignment with integration pattern , access control mechanism.
Enforce and monitor Salesforce security controls (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, etc.).
Resolve problem records, incidents, and defect items raised by business and security teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Review and guide technical implementation strategies for the team.
Lead and mentor Salesforce developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning.
Constructively challenge other project teams sharing the Salesforce instance to maintain architectural integrity.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance policies.
Drive continuous improvement in development and release processes.
Hands-on experience with GitLab and GitLab Duo for version control and CI/CD.
Resolve merge conflicts, manage pull/merge requests, and enforce branching strategies.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines and automation.
Monitor and optimize Salesforce release cycles using DevOps tools.
Work with other projects on the shared Salesforce instance and challenge design decisions when necessary to uphold platform standards.
Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
