To be successful as a Test Automation Engineer you should have experience with:
Proficient in Java/Angular for test automation development purpose
Python scripting skills and able to create automation framework for data driven applications.
Experience in creating test automation framework from scratch using Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured framework, -pyTest,TestNG, Behave, Mocha, etc using BDD/TDD/ATDD, etc
Hands on experience with Adobe Analytics tools and debugging techniques
Unix commands, shell scripting
Complex SQL queries
Good practical experience of DevOps integration with test automation frameworks including tools like Jenkins, Git, Nexus.
Familiarity with web tagging , data layers and event-based tracking
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Hands-on experience with test automation and a deep understanding of software/QA methodologies.
Proficiency in testing/automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Pytest
In-depth knowledge of Java & Python language, including data structures (lists, tuples, sets, dictionaries), OOP concepts, data frames, lambda functions, Boto3, file handling, DB handling, and debugging techniques.
Ability to adapt to new technical trends in automation.

The role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
