To be successful as a Test Automation Engineer , you should have experience with:
Unix commands , ETL architecture & Data Warehouse concepts and working experience in ETL Testing
Proven experience of working in cloud technologies like AWS, Snowflake, with AWS services like – Athena , EC2, S3, Lambda
Python Language(For Test Automation) – In-depth understanding of Data Structures: Lists, Tuples, Sets , Dictionaries. OOPS concepts, Data Frames, Lambda functions, Boto3, File handling, DB handling, debugging techniques etc
Perform complex SQL queries/ joins to validate data transformations, migration and integrity across source and target systems.
Test and defect management - Document Test results, defects , and track issues to resolutions using tool – Jira/ X-Ray
Collaborate closely with Dev/DevOps/BA teams
Expectation from this role is that this person will be working on Test Automation, for that they need to understand functional requirements and first try manually to learn and then implementation automation
Good understanding of DBT & Pyspark
Testing/ Automation Tools / frameworks like – Python, Pytest, BDD, TDD

The role is based out of Pune.

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
