Test Automation Engineer

To be successful as a Test Automation Engineer , you should have experience with:

• Unix commands , ETL architecture & Data Warehouse concepts and working experience in ETL Testing

• Proven experience of working in cloud technologies like AWS, Snowflake, with AWS services like – Athena , EC2, S3, Lambda

• Python Language(For Test Automation) – In-depth understanding of Data Structures: Lists, Tuples, Sets , Dictionaries. OOPS concepts, Data Frames, Lambda functions, Boto3, File handling, DB handling, debugging techniques etc

• Perform complex SQL queries/ joins to validate data transformations, migration and integrity across source and target systems.

• Test and defect management - Document Test results, defects , and track issues to resolutions using tool – Jira/ X-Ray

• Collaborate closely with Dev/DevOps/BA teams

• Expectation from this role is that this person will be working on Test Automation, for that they need to understand functional requirements and first try manually to learn and then implementation automation

• Good understanding of  DBT & Pyspark

• Testing/ Automation Tools / frameworks like – Python, Pytest, BDD, TDD

The role is based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure. 

Accountabilities

• Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
• Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
• Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
