To be a successful Vice President-Confirmation Transformation, you should have experience with:

  • Programme Manager: Provision of guidance and expertise to engineering teams to ensure alignment with best practices and foster a culture of technical excellence. Contribution to strategic planning by aligning technical decisions with business goals, anticipating future technology trends, and providing insights to optimize product roadmaps.

  • Vice President Expectations: Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment. Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.

  • Stakeholder Management and Leadership: Excellent communicator with flexibility to communicate effectively using the right medium across all levels of the function and build successful relationships with key stakeholders, SMEs and other functions.

  • Personal Qualities: Highly resilient and resourceful with a proven track record in engaging and influencing others to ensure project tasks are delivered per committed timelines.

Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued:

  • Detailed knowledge & experience of 2-3 of the following Product Families: Securities, Listed Futures & Options, Foreign Exchange, OTC Derivatives, Accounting and Reconciliations, Subledger and General Ledger functionalities.

  • Strong skills in the use of documentation, planning and presentation software tools e.g. Advanced MS Office, SharePoint, Visio skills, MS Access. Experience of Requirements Capturing to support a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementation.

  • Preferred Knowledge of operational modelling tools e.g. Blueworks Live, Clicktools.

  • Preferred MBA (Finance), Preferred Certified in Prince 2/PMP.

This role is based in Pune.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
