At Barclays, we’re committed to helping businesses achieve their ambitions. As part of our UK Mid Corporate Coverage team, you’ll work closely with clients to understand their objectives, opportunities, and challenges, delivering tailored financial solutions that support their growth. In this role, you’ll manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of clients with a combined turnover of approximately £35 million, providing remarkable service and deepening relationships. You will also proactively identify and secure new business opportunities.
Essential Skills/ Basic Qualifications
Commercial effectiveness, including client/customer focus and commerciality
Strong understanding of risk management and control environment
Business acumen, including delivering solutions and sound decision-making
Excellent communication, influence, and collaboration skills
Strong internal stakeholder management and networking capabilities
Desirable Skills/ Preferred
Technical knowledge of lending, pricing, and post-sanction fulfilment
Familiarity with systems such as Zeus and GPT
Deep understanding of industry trends and business drivers
Experience in client portfolio management and business development
Track record of acquiring new customers and delivering growth

This role is based in Sheffield.
