Explore locationJoin Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) as a key member of the APAC and Middle East Compliance & Financial Crime Audit team based in Singapore. As an individual contributor, you will support Audit Owners (Vice Presidents and Directors) in the delivery of regional and global audit engagements, ensuring timely, high-quality, and efficient execution. You will also monitor developments within the firm and the external regulatory environment, evaluating their impact on audit strategy and coverage. You should at least have a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Management, or a related discipline, with a relevant professional qualification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA or ACAMS. You should also have relevant audit or risk and controls experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Compliance or Financial Crime audits. A good understanding of the APAC and Middle East regulatory environment is desirable. Experience in data analytics (e.g., Python) and/or the use of GenAI tools in audit execution is preferred. The successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, effective stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
