Explore locationEmbrace on a new journey and act as the local representative for the delivery of the ER agenda for Japan, where you will be providing subject matter expertise and guidance on ER matters, in partnership with the Asia ER team. You will help to manage Employee Relations cases in the Japan office including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and sickness cases, ensuring a consistent and pragmatic approach, coordinate with investigation and control teams, including Litigation, Compliance and Chief Security Office Investigations.
You’ll ensure the Japan Rules of Employment and other policies are in line with employment legislation and changing business requirements. Proactively identify policy/process improvements and input into regional and global policy reviews. You will also have a chance to manage workforce change and restructuring in Japan in partnership with the Japan based HR Delivery & Advisory team and the Asia ER team and act as the local representative for the BeWell Programme for Japan including the Employee Assistance Programme.
