What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Business Analysis Manager in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

  • Support Business Intelligence (BI) Finance initiatives driven by SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), Commercial growth and Regulatory requirements.

  • Determine business requirements and prioritizing for change.

  • Define functional requirements which reflect the business requirements and develop approaches to enable them to be delivered via process changes or technology solutions.

  • Liaise with Risk, Finance and Treasury Business Stakeholders to document business outcomes, functional specifications as product backlogs for new BI Finance initiatives.

  • Define detailed business and integration requirements using the Confluence/Wiki based documentation approach aligned with an Agile / sprint-based development methodology.

  • Create detailed GUI mock-ups and other visual requirements, as required, to be presented alongside user requirements to development /feature teams and key business stakeholders.

  • Work with computer systems feature teams to ensure user requirements/business outcomes are clearly understood and developed as specified in the documentation.

  • Analyze UAT issues and assist Business users and developers with issue resolution.

  • Analyze and respond to queries from BI Finance Product Owners/ Users.

  • Analyze systems to identify functional gaps and enable them to be resolved via process changes / technology solutions.

  • Contribute to process re-engineering and improvements.

  • Collaborate and maintain strong relationships within Finance, Risk, Treasury teams and stakeholders.

  • Design and enhance in-house accounting framework to extend the accounting for US Cash business.

  • May telecommute.

Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $170,373 per year

Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $187,410 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. 

Accountabilities

  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
  • Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
