Barclays Services Corp. seeks Business Analyst – Product Control in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
Support and lead newly introduced RWA Governance Process across RFT and ensure all controls are in place and stringently followed while implementing RWA-impacting deliverables.
Own and Lead Release Coordination activities tied to month-end production release ensuring tested and signed deliverables are released and deployed to production month-over-month.
Provide continuous support in strategic data analysis for Enterprise Finance (Data Warehouse) including but not limited to analysis of feed files and underlying attributes prior to downstream publication of said feed files from data warehouse to consumers.
Facilitate creation of Enterprise Finance (Data Warehouse)-related Data Products in the portal and enable flow of said Data Products all the way to Marketplace which is the Bank standard for all approved Data Products for consumption by data consumers across the Bank.
Supervise and coordinate decommission of legacy applications in conjunction with Business and Development teams to facilitate cost reduction and reduce carbon footprint.
Extend continuous support to downstream systems and downstream users where necessary for resolution of DQIs.
Take ownership of production issues and defects brought to our attention by Business and facilitate quick resolution of said issues by tracking them from inception to resolution with Development.
Analyze, assess, and solution design to extend, enhance, and innovate Barclays’ banking solutions and capabilities.
Take ownership, co-ordinate and facilitate end to end requirements gathering.
Document business, functional and non-functional requirements, model business process and manage acceptance/sign-off process.
Prepare agreed deliverables in line with standards, to meet agreed quality standards and timelines.
Work with the business to rapidly build the domain expertise and influence required to understand, and challenge business and functional requirements.
Learn Application functionality and the financial controllers reporting domain.
Perform end to end business requirements analysis.
Provide functional support to development teams as well as business users.
Create test scenarios and test cases and perform testing.
Coordinate UAT and Regression testing with business users to ensure timely sign-off.
Contribute to the development of business analysis, change management tools, techniques, standards and methodologies to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
May telecommute.
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $162,500 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $178,750 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
