The Control Lead is responsible for supporting the operational risk and control strategy, providing oversight of control functions across multiple supported business areas and functions. This role ensures quality standards and policies are monitored and implemented across all operational processes. You will collaborate with control owners to execute Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) that measure the effectiveness of controls. The Control Lead also supports the team in managing various control activities aligned with the Operational Control Rigor framework.
To be successful as a Control Lead, you should have:
Ample background working in banking or other regulated industry environments, with a solid understanding of compliance and risk management
Proven expertise in control environments, including risk assessment, monitoring, and remediation of control gaps
Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance process efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Background in Operational Risk, Conduct Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Control functions
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Operational experience with familiarity of call center and back-office processes, including metrics tracking and data analysis
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, NJ.
Minimum Salary: $75,000
Maximum Salary: $95,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
