Explore locationEmbark on a transformative journey with Barclays as a Prime Services Negotiator AVP. Your role will be to oversee and manage transactional processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation for financial transactions. Your role is critical to support the volume of repurchase and securities lending agreements that are requested by the Global Markets business.
To be successful as a Prime Services Negotiator AVP, you should have:
Experience negotiating and drafting repurchase agreements (MRAs, GMRAs), and securities lending agreements (MSLAs), and/or ISDAs at a financial institution or law firm
An understanding of the key credit risks associated with trading master agreements
Knowledge of standard hedge fund and private equity structures, including the role of investment managers
The ability to perform capacity and authority reviews
Knowledge of legal netting opinions

Excellent attention to detail
Proactive mindset, ability to take ownership of and complete work at pace
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from various departments within a financial institution
Ability to succinctly summarize and present issues that arise during negotiations
Law Degree (preferred)

This role is located in the Whippany, NJ office.
Minimum Salary: $110,000
Maximum Salary: $150,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
