Senior Project Manager

In this role, you are expected to build a product or suite of products based on business needs. You will be responsible for driving the delivery and performance of products, shaping the product strategy, and maintaining an in-depth understanding of market and customer needs. This position requires close collaboration with the Engineering team and USCB business to find the right technical solutions and follow all Barclays-defined coordination processes.

To be successful as a Senior Project Manager, you should have experience with:

• Executing application fraud technology program and aligning product vision with business goals

• Managing and refining the product backlog into clear, actionable user stories

• Defining success metrics and ensuring features meet the definition of done

• Collaborating with delivery teams to resolve blockers and drive continuous improvement

• Facilitating workshops to gather requirements and align with UX best practices

This role is located in Whippany, NJ office.

Minimum Salary: $155,000

Maximum Salary: $225,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
