The Chief Data Office is primarily responsible for meeting and remaining in compliance with Group Data Management and Standards and progressing Barclays’ targets with respect to data management capabilities. As the US CDO Data Governance Analyst, you are accountable for supporting the US CDO team in the local data governance oversight related to reporting, planning and controls for the Group Data Management and Standards, ensuring compliance with all Laws, Rules and Regulation in the US. You will also have the unique opportunity to work supporting the Group Data Quality Standard team, responsible for enabling firm wide compliance with the Global Data Management Standard (GDMS) for Data Quality.
To be successful as a US CDO Data Governance Analyst, you should have:
Ample Influencing and leveraging skills as the role operates across a matrix
Business understanding and capability to document requirements
Ample problem solving ability to address new situations and efficiently handle any incidents which may arise
Good attention to detail
The ability to design, implement, operate and refine processes
Other highly valued skills include:
Proficient in excel and data mining
Basic project management skills such as requirement gathering, create test scenarios, UAT planning and testing, issue tracking, etc
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to senior management and in regulatory documents
Tableau reporting

This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
