Senior Decision Analyst

Join us as a Senior Decision Analyst where you will extract meaningful insights from complex data sets, develop robust decision models, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

To be successful as a Senior Decision Analyst, you should have the following experience:

• Experience in data analysis and delivering data driven insights for driving commercial outcomes.

• Experience in using innovative customer analysis to identify commercial opportunities.

• Experience of programming in SQL, and an additional computer language (e.g., SAS, R, Python).

Some other highly valued skills include:

• Experience of statistical analysis techniques.

• Experience in creating business models, both financial and consumer behavioural.

• Practical experience of creating customer segmentation models and running customer targeting.

• Practical knowledge of data warehouse and MI environments and practices.

This role will be based in London, Northampton or Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

To extract meaningful insights from complex data sets, developing robust decision models, and presenting actionable recommendations to stakeholders across the departments. 

Accountabilities

• Identification and extraction of relevant data from various internal and external sources.
• Performing sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
• Monitoring and evaluation of the performance of existing models.
• Development and implementation of data quality control procedures.
• Building and validation of quantitative models to support decision-making across different business areas.
