What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Desktop Product Owner, AVP in Wilmington, DE (multiple positions available):

1.    Manage priorities through agile methods in a fast-paced environment that cross multiple business divisions and support areas.
2.    Work with Operations and Tech teams (Scrum/Dev Leads/BAs) across Desktop and AWS Platforms.
3.    Design and deliver robust E2E agent experience solutions which take into account Desktop Landing Pages, workflow improvements, Case Management, best practice Desktop principles and agent efficiency.
4.    Provide consultancy for change, technology and commercial teams when developing products/projects that require Desktop changes.
5.    Manage several concurrent high visibility project backlogs for our Business Process Management Platform while ensuring the priorities of the business are maintained through deployment.
6.    Epic Segmentation to Create and Prioritize Product Backlog, define Product Backlog by Sequencing Stories in Product Backlog.
7.    Cross-Functional work environment to help with growth and helping to fill in where needed within our team structure.
8.    Manage backlog and Progressive Elaboration sessions to maintain work volume.
9.    Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
10.    May telecommute.

Purpose of the role

To manage and improve products, and the effective execution of these products.  

Accountabilities

  • Management and improvement of products using agile methodologies to support the monitoring of metrics such as usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction, and to support the development of roadmaps that aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a product.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders including traders, salespeople, risk managers and technology teams to align the product vision and development process.  .
  • Utilisation of market research, analysis of customer feedback and monitoring of industry trends to identify new products, features or enhancements.  .
  • Development and execution of reports and presentations to communicate product updates, features, requirements, acceptance criteria and success stories to relevant stakeholders, including developers.  .
  • Execution of user acceptance testing to validate product concepts, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on design prototypes.  .
  • Development and execution of go-to-market strategies for a smooth launch of new products or features in collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer support teams.  .
