Join Barclays as a Loan Operations Analyst at Barclays where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in Syndicated Loans, including Par and Distressed trades, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of LSTA documentation, proficiency in systems such as Loan IQ and Clear Par, and a proven ability to manage trade settlements while collaborating with legal and operations teams.

To be successful one should have experience with below:

• Must have experience with Syndicated Loans, including Par and Distressed trades

• Should possess knowledge of LSTA documentation such as Trade Confirmations and Transfer Certificates

• Proficiency in systems like ACBS, MOC, WSO, Clear Par, and Loan IQ is required

• Ability to liaise effectively with counterparties, agent banks, legal teams, and KYC teams is essential

• Expertise in managing trade settlements and resolving settlement issues is necessary

This role is based out of Wilmington, DE.

Purpose of the role

To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
  • Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
  • Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
