Join Barclays as a US Cash Sales Trader, AVP within the Equities franchise, where you will play a key role in driving client engagement, executing trades, and delivering market insights. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role that blends marketing, trading support, and market strategy. You will maintain and grow relationships with institutional clients while helping to originate and execute transactions across a range of equity products. You will work closely with senior sales leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and enhance Barclays’ market presence. Execute client orders efficiently while ensuring best execution standards and facilitate market liquidity by coordinating with trading desks and monitoring market depth and pricing. As well as ensure accurate trade booking, lifecycle management, and timely resolution of any discrepancies.

To be successful as a US Cash Sales Trader, AVP, you should have experience with:

  • Guiding client relationships and facilitate customer trades like equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, or derivatives

  • Monitoring markets and track pricing, risk, and trends in real time

  • Working closely with traders, sales teams, and portfolio managers

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Ability to multi-task and work multiple priorities  

  • Make instinctive strategies based on limited information and intuitive acumen

  • Experience in financial Markets

This role is located in Boston, Massachusetts.

This role is regulated by FINRA.

Minimum Salary: $119,500

Maximum Salary: $175,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and maintenance of relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
  • Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
  • Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
  • Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
  • Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
  • Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions.
