Join Barclays as Vice President Transformation where you'll play a pivotal role by closely working with business stakeholders, operations users, controls team, technology teams, UAT test manager and all other stakeholders to understand current business process and work, to design Target Operating Model and associated requirements documentation for Wholesale Lending migration to Loan IQ platform. Your role will also have the responsibility of supporting all governance activities to ensure robust planning, scheduling, documentation and signoffs are delivered.

To be successful in this role, you should have,

  • Prior experience of rolling out strategic and tactical change across a large organization, understanding of Target Operating Model (TOM) and ability to understand and document detailed processes.

  • Good knowledge of Corporate and IB loan products and their attributes and familiarity with key IT/ systems.

  • Ability to drive strategic Business process design, associated workflow and documentation.

  • Experience of tools for documentation including JIRA and Confluence.

  • Experience of managing team members to support required deliveries.

  • Good communication skills along with an ability to translate written instruction into action items.

Some other highly valued skills may include,

  • Lending /Servicing knowledge across all debt products.

  • Experience of using Loan IQ.

  • Experience of working in a Corporate/Investment Banking/consulting.

  • Knowledge and experience of working closely with IT, Transformation & Change area using Agile project management.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications like Excel, Word and Power Point.

This role is based in our Chennai office.

Purpose of the role

To manage the implementation of strategic change initiatives to enhance the banks operational efficiency. 

Accountabilities

  • Management of strategic operational changes and initiatives to enhance the bank's operational efficiency and effectiveness, including the identification and assessment of changes on people, processes, and systems.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers and SMEs to support business operation team and promote alignment between operations with the bank’s objectives.
  • Development and implementation of change management strategies and effectively communicate the strategies so they are understood and adopted by stakeholders.
  • Management and development of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business functions, utilising data and technology to support the identification of areas that require improvement.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to change management.
  • Provision of guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the operational change management process through training and coaching.
