Explore locationJoin us as a Barclays Europe Corporate Banking BOC VP, where you'll support and advise the business in Europe in relation to the context of Corporate banking which includes transaction banking, International corporate banking and wholesale lending. You will also ensure that the applicable regulatory framework is adequately complied whilst tracking the development of the framework.
To be successful as a Barclays Europe Corporate Banking BOC VP, you should have experience with
• Compliance experience in a regulated firm, regulatory consultancy practice
• Proactivity and an ability to lead engagement on behalf of the team at business governance forums, providing measured and proportionate check and challenge to manage risk, escalating where appropriate
• Excellent written and communication skills
Some other highly valued skills may include
• Experience in the Corporate banking space as a compliance officer, a legal background is advantageous
• Basic level of additional European languages
• Good understanding of the Irish Regulatory Frameworks & European regulatory frameworks such as, PSD3, SEPA Instant Regulation, Cross Border Payments Regulation, MifID2 and Market Abuse

This role is located in Dublin.
This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
Purpose of the role
To provide data-led expert oversight and check and challenge on business and compliance matters to evidence that the organisation is operating in a compliance with Barclays legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities.
