Data Business Analyst

Join us as a Data Business Analyst sitting in Markets Post Trade Technology.  You will be gathering requirements across bank, such as improve or new flow, you will understand the product and market, identify stakeholders and risks. You will then design the model within team and communicate that to stakeholders.

This is highly independent role with your stakeholders predominantly being VP and above. You will have visibility early on- with Migrations and Decommissioning projects taken place.

To be successful as a Data Business Analyst, you should have experience with

• Critical analysis and problem solving skills
• Markets/product knowledge- such at Rates, FX, Loans, Security Lending, Bonds, Equity, Commodities
• Stakeholder management

Purpose of the role

To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources. 

Accountabilities

• Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
• Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.
• Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
• Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.
• Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
