To be successful as a Data Designer, you should have experience with:
Having designed and developed detailed data models, schemas and database designs.
Optimise data structures for performance and scalability in alignment with business objectives.
Experience in conducting data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and propose solutions.
Understands data design specifications and maintain data dictionaries.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL , Kafka , AWS etc).
Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or related field.
Proven experience in data modelling, database design, and data governance frameworks.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be located at our Northampton or Glasgow office.
Purpose of the role
To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends across various business units.
