Explore locationJoin us at Barclays as a DevOps Engineer. At Barclays, you’ll help build, run, and continuously improve resilient, secure, and scalable technology platforms that power critical banking services. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices and drive automation across the software delivery lifecycle.
Key skills
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including running and supporting production workloads on platforms such as OpenShift, EKS, or ECS.
Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitLab CI, with a strong focus on automation and reliability.
Solid experience building and managing AWS infrastructure, with the ability to design solutions that balance cost, scalability, and resilience.
Desirable skills
Experience with CloudFormation, Service Catalog, and other AWS platform services.
Demonstrated ability to design infrastructure with clear visibility of costs, scaling strategies, and high availability.
Exposure to DevOps practices within large-scale or regulated environments.
This role is based in Glasgow
