Explore locationJoin us as a Paralegal for the Litigation, Investigations and Enforcement Legal team based in Glasgow. The team manages a wide range of legal disputes and investigations, whether or not legal proceedings have been commenced, and either handles such disputes within the team or with the assistance of our panel law firms. As a Paralegal you will have a wide range of responsibilities including inbox management, report management and other ad-hoc requests to support the team.
Key skills required for this role include:
An interest in litigation and an understanding of key legal terminology.
Ability to work across a broad range of tasks and with different stakeholders.
Computer literacy with aptitude to become skilled with legal technology solutions.
Other highly valued skills include:
Law degree, paralegal qualification or other relevant legal experience.
An understanding of legal risks and Barclays structure, products and services.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in Glasgow.
Purpose of the role
To advise on and manage litigation, investigation & enforcement proceedings and ensure that these are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
