To be successful as a Solution Architect at Barclays, you should have experience in:
• Solution design on complex large-scale initiatives
• In-depth understanding of Operational Data Store, Data Lake and Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse principles, best practices, and design patterns
• Understanding of Data Integration and Data Streaming principles, best practises, and design patterns.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Experience of technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Glue
• Experience migrating legacy on-prem systems to cloud architectures
• Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems and to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

This role will be based in our Glasgow office.
