Explore locationSustainability and Reputation Compliance is a team within CWR Compliance responsible for designing and operating the Compliance oversight model for Sustainability and Reputation Risk. This includes supporting the bank in its development of policies aligned to its Transition Plan and overseeing adherence to our stated ambitions. As a Sustainability and Reputation Risk Compliance VP, you will have experience in the sustainability transition with an understanding of the key actions required to support the aims of the Paris Climate Accord and other key international commitments, the regulatory landscape as it applies to sustainability and how actions can give rise to reputation risk amongst key external stakeholders. You will use this experience to support the design of the internal control environment, challenge bank strategy on its efficacy and achievability and train Business Oversight Compliance colleagues so they can challenge the business on specific activities in their day to day roles.
To be successful as a Sustainability and Reputation Risk Compliance VP, you should have:
Experience in Sustainability and an understanding of the requirements of key international ESG commitments.
Understanding of Sustainability regulations impacting the financial industry
Experience in affecting change within the internal control frameworks of large corporate institutions.

Experience in designing and delivering training to colleagues

Purpose of the role
To provide data-led expert oversight and check and challenge on business and compliance matters to evidence that the organisation is operating in a compliance with Barclays legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities.
