You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as experience with proven expertise assessing AI and LLM systems, backed by strong experience in application development and technology risk assessment, particularly in Generative and Agentic AI. The ideal candidate brings handson capability across AIenabled cloud platforms, including AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI Service, with the ability to design and assess secure, resilient, and compliant AI architectures. Deep knowledge of AI and cloud governance frameworks—such as the NIST AI RMF, CIS Controls, and CSA CCM—along with familiarity with emerging regulations like the EU AI Act, is essential. This role suits individuals who can strengthen enterprise risk management and enable secure adoption of AI and Cloud technologies etc as well as job-specific skillsets.

To be successful as a "CBP- TCRS Cloud Technology & Cyber", you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Science & Technology discipline
  • Proven background assessing Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model implementation or systems
  • Background in Application development and/or application/system risk assessments, Agentic AI or Gen AI specific is preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of AI‑driven cloud offerings such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI Service, and related GenAI platforms, with hands‑on experience across AI risk management, AI solution architecture, and AI security controls in cloud environments.
  • Working knowledge of AWS AI and supporting services, such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Kendra, Comprehend, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Route 53, and integrations essential for building scalable AI applications.
  • Awareness of modern AI application delivery approaches, including rapid model development, CI/CD for AI, MLOps, infra-as-code, containerization (Docker), automated testing, and deployment workflows aligned to GenAI lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with AI‑related industry standards and cloud best practices, including NIST AI Risk Management Framework, CIS Cloud Security Controls, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, and secure‑by‑design principles for cloud‑hosted AI systems.
  • Experience around Regulatory and compliance requirements related to AI technology/security e.g EU AI Act

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

  • Preferred Certifications: ISO 42001:2023, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Azure AI Fundamentals, AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSK or CCSP
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills
  • Experience in managing/ supporting controls/ Risk committees.
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management. Ability to manage reporting lines and relationships across multiple disciplines.
  •  Strong project and change management skills

This role will be based out of Gurugram.

Purpose of the role

To assess the integrity and effectiveness of the banks internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of the banks operational, financial, and reputational risk.  

Accountabilities

  • Knowledge of business areas, products, processes and platforms to be able to assess risk
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders across the bank and business units to improve overall control effectiveness through detailed documentation of control assessments, procedures, and findings.
  • Identification and investigation of potential weaknesses and issues within internal controls to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation aligned to the bank’s control framework, prioritised by its severity to disrupt bank operations.
  • Development of reports to communicate key findings from risk assessment including control weaknesses and recommendations to control owners, senior management, and other stakeholders.
  • Execution of reviews to determine the effectiveness of the bank's internal controls framework aligned to established and evolving policies, regulation, and best practice.
  • Implementation of adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework and set appropriate methodology of assessing controls against the Controls Framework.
