As a Data Scientist within USCB Operations, you will enhance our modeling and analytics capabilities by designing, developing, and deploying Machine Learning, Generative, and Agentic AI models. Your work will focus on improving operational efficiency, elevating customer and colleague experiences, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role involves building large-scale data pipelines, utilizing cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS), and applying generative AI techniques to drive innovation. You’ll collaborate across teams to turn complex data into actionable insights and scalable solutions.
To be successful as a Data Scientist, you should have:
Relevant knowledge in areas such as data science, computer science, statistics, or other related technical fields
Experience building and deploying machine learning models using Python or similar languages in cloud environments
A solid understanding of data exploration techniques and working with streaming data pipelines
Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, SageMaker, Lambda, and Bedrock to support data science workflows
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Exposure to generative and agentic AI frameworks, including techniques for fine-tuning and orchestration
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model lifecycle management
Prior experience in financial services, risk modeling, or operational analytics
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Henderson, NV and Whippany, NJ.
Salary for Henderson, NV:
Minimum Salary: $110,000
Maximum Salary: $155,000

Purpose of the role
To use innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank's data reserves, leveraging these insights to inform strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organisation.
