As a VP in our Acquisitions and Divestitures team, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on complex M&A transactions. Your expertise will help drive

strategic growth and optimize our clients’ portfolios.

To be successful as a VP Acquisitions and Divestitures, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Petroleum engineering

  • Related experience in Reservoir Engineering

  • Prior experience in performing Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) and field development planning, including type curve generation, inventory analysis and creating drill schedules

  • Working knowledge and understanding of Operations and Geoscience disciplines

Some highly valued skills include:

  • Prior work experience in an A&D team at an E&P company or

investment bank with experience preparing and reviewing VDRs related to

buy-side and sell-side due diligence

  • Prior work experience in A&D team at E&P company or investment

bank with exposure to VDR

  • Experience conducting buy-side and sell-side due diligence

Purpose of the role

To help clients with technical evaluation for acquisitions, divestitures and financial solutions to meet their business objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Analysis of technical (petroleum / reservoir engineering) data to provide inputs for financial model used to market client's asset, or help with investment opportunities.
  • Provision of engineering support for transactions, including drafting presentation materials, and preparing data room documents.
  • Collaboration with other team members in generating A&D / M&A ideas for clients.
  • Building / leveraging of network of industry contacts to stay informed about the technical aspects of the business, and leverage that knowledge for related pitch work and assignments.
  • To help clients with technical evaluation for acquisitions, divestitures and financial solutions to meet their business objectives.
