Explore locationBarclays is seeking a DevOps Engineer, with a considerable DevOps focus to have responsibility for and optimise our continuous delivery pipeline. You’ll ensure deployment and build processes that power our API delivery, supporting both internal and external API changes. Your role involves implementing updates, preparing final deployment-ready packages, and ensuring reliable, automated delivery workflows.
While live incidents are infrequent, you may occasionally support out‑of‑hours deployments or incident resolution a few times per year.
To be successful as a DevOps Engineer, you should have experience with:
Considerable DevOps & Automation Experience (Jenkins, GitHub/BitBucket, CI/CD Pipelines)
Cloud & Container Platform Proficiency (AWS, Docker, OpenShift)
Linux & Scripting (Shell, Groovy, YAML)
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of Java/Gradle or Application Support Background
Configuration Management Tools (Ansible/Chef)
Experience with SDLC Frameworks (Agile, Scrum)

This role will be based in our Knutsford office.
