Explore locationJoin us as a VP AML Public Policy Specialist where you will lead strategic engagement with regulators, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders to shape and influence AML policy frameworks. You’ll be responsible for translating complex regulatory developments into actionable strategies and ensuring our voice is heard in key policy forums. You will Lead the development and advocacy of AML public policy positions across UK and international jurisdictions, represent the organisation in high-level regulatory consultations, working groups, and industry coalitions. You will monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assessing impact and advising senior leadership and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs teams to align policy strategy.
To be successful as a VP AML Public Policy, you must have:
Experience in AML policy, financial crime compliance, or regulatory affairs
Deep understanding of UK AML legislation (POCA, MLRs) and global standards (FATF, EU Directives)
Proven track record of influencing policy at senior levels
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
