Explore locationJoin us as a Communications Manager within the Transformation Management Office (TMO) for Global Transaction Banking (GTB), where you will be responsible for the strategic creation and distribution of internal communications. In this role you’ll be required to work effectively front to back (Business, Technology, Operations) across the organisation to ensure that key messages and initiatives are effectively distilled to colleagues and key stakeholders. You’ll be accountable for leading the communications strategy supporting Transformation initiatives.
The Transformation Office is part of Global Transaction Banking (GTB) and working in partnership closely with Business, Tech, and Operations. The team is integral to deliver Barclays ambition to transform our ways of business value creation. The division supports clients with an annual turnover of over £6.5 million across large local companies, financial institutions and multinationals in UK and International markets. All our clients, regardless of size or complexity, want a financial partner they can trust. And, in line with Barclays common purpose, they also expect us to have the people and capabilities to help them achieve their ambitions in the right way.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Previous experience of working in a Corporate Communications role
Excellent writing skills, translating technical messages into engaging stories
Content creation, copywriting, editing and related skills proficient in Microsoft 365 Applications and Tooling: SharePoint Online and integrated solutions (e.g. MS Teams, Viva Engage); Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word)
Demonstrate Agile working methods.
Strong networking skills and the ability to make meaningful connections with key stakeholders
Experience of promoting and driving colleague accessibility
Understanding of accessibility and awareness of requirements
Ability to work at pace and execute within tight deadline
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Desired Skills/Preferred Qualifications:
An understanding of Global Transaction Banking, and the products/services on offer

This role is based in London.
