Join us as a Content Manager on a 12-month contract where you be working within the Marketing team for Barclaycard Payments. The team are responsible for delivering the marketing and brand strategy for Barclaycard Payments whilst implementing and executing all campaign activity for customers and clients.

Overall purpose of role

  • Lead content management across all owned & paid marketing channels for SME and Corporate audiences.
  • Take responsibility for coordination of the overall content calendar and planning process – owning development of our always-on content activity, as well as contributing to our SME and Corporate campaigns, with support of the wider team and our creative agencies
  • Work closely with the wider Brand team, Website team, Segment teams and agencies to develop a compelling series of communications and content
  • Manage delivery of thought leadership content that drives brand differentiation, helping the business to stand out amongst a competitive payments landscape

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Content management expert with solid experience managing content for a large brand, preferably B2B
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • A very high level of communication skills including interactive listening in order to negotiate internally or externally with others
  • Strong evidence of managing internal and external partner agencies (creative and production)
  • Good planning and organisational skills - managing priorities across a range of projects/campaigns to ensure timely delivery

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Team player – experience in contributing to the development of a strong high performance culture within a team – making the team the best it can be
  • Strong attention to detail – experience in delivering communications that achieved the desired standards and effectively deliver against both commercial and brand objectives
  • Good financial acumen and commercial decision making
  • Experience in content creation tools, planning and publishing on Sprinklr or similar

This role is based in London or Northampton.

Purpose of the role

To create content that highlights and promotes the bank’s goals and objectives across various platforms and omnichannels to appropriate channels by crafting compelling narratives and designing engaging visual content

Accountabilities

  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop content messages, themes and topics which communicate the bank’s objectives.
  • Management of the end-to-end content creation process including as needed writing, editing, animation creation, and static asset development which will be used and communicated across platforms.
  • Management of content that engages clients and other stakeholders via articles, social media, videos and infographics.
  • Monitoring the performance of content across various channels using analytics tools.
  • In certain cases, development and maintenance of platforms such as microsites to promote the bank’s business objectives, values, products, services and campaigns for specific audiences.
