Explore locationJoin us as an AVP in our Barclays Finance and Tax Internal Audit global team where you’ll gain exposure across areas such as Financial and Prudential Regulatory Reporting, Product Control, Valuation Control, Impairments, BusinessPartnering, TaxandFinance Transformation. You’ll deliver complex, insight-led audits that shape how Barclays reports to regulators and investors, drives strategy, and embeds a strong control environment within Finance. This role offers a platform to influence senior stakeholders, apply specialist expertise and help transform Finance capabilities across one of the world's largest financial institutions.
Essential Skills
Background in Internal or External Audit with a strong understanding of risk and control frameworks.
Strong understanding of finance functions within a bank, including financial reporting, valuation and product control, prudential regulatory reporting requirements and governanceand controlprocesses.
Data analytics capability, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to work with large datasets to support audit testing.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence outcomes.
Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or CIA completed or currently in pursuit
Desirable Skills
Experience in prudential regulatory capital reporting requirements and associated controls including COREP and Pillar 1 capital requirements.
You may be assessed on critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
