Explore locationJoin us as an Internal Auditor at Barclays where you will play a pivotal role in leading audits within the UK Private Bank and Wealth Management (PBWM) business division. You will work collaboratively with others in BIA to develop strong independent Auditee relationships and conduct audit activity to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls. You will also ensure that audits/assignments on a day-to-day basis are completed to a high standard in line with audit methodology and you will support delivery of the PBWM Audit Plan
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Strong experience in risk-based auditing or risk/control preferably in Private Banking.
Must have ACA qualification.
Practical understanding of relevant regulatory environment.
Experience of managing audits/driving initiatives in a relevant field.
Proven track record of high performance in previous roles to include senior client management.
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge about Private Bank and Wealth Management, Financial Crime, Investments, Banking and Credit.
Knowledge about new and emerging financial products and services.
Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

This role will be based in London.

To support the development of audits aligned to the bank’s standards and objectives by working collaboratively with colleagues, providing accurate information and recommendations, and complying with policies and procedures.
