Explore locationJoin us at Barclays as an AVP within the Investment Banking Cross Border Controls team, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective governance and oversight of cross-border activities across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, translating complex legal and policy guidance.
To be successful as an AVP in Investment Banking and Cross Border Controls, you must have the following essential skills:
Advanced knowledge of cross-border policies, regulatory requirements and governance frameworks.
Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory guidance and translate requirements into practical business controls.
Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, including preparing for governance forums, managing agendas and packs, documenting minutes and tracking actions.
Ample prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing demands, assess the urgency of requests and demonstrate a proactive approach to delivery and stakeholder support.

This role is based in London.
Purpose of the role
To assess the integrity and effectiveness of the banks internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of the banks operational, financial, and reputational risk.
