Explore locationAs a Product and Proposition Manager you will be responsible for improving customers experience with products, managing payment related incidents and reporting to senior stakeholders. The Domestic Payments Team are transforming payments for customers across BUK through an extensive digital journey improvement programme, upgrades to our core payments systems infrastructure and new propositions which will make customers’ interactions with Barclays easier, and which will improve resilience and reduce fraud. You will need to demonstrate strong analytical thinking, experience of managing a product lifecycle/risk management and a desire to help us deliver great digital customer experiences.
Essential
Experience of using data to make decisions and recommendations.
Understanding and experience of product management and/or payments.
Demonstrable experience of working with and managing a broad range of stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Strong understanding of Customer journey management and improvement.
Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Desirable
Understanding of domestic payments would be beneficial
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role can be based in London (1CP), Glasgow, Manchester or Northampton.
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
