Explore locationJoin us as a Senior ABC Advisory Investment Bank VP at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role, supporting the delivery of the global Financial Crime objectives. You will be responsible for supporting and leading the ABC function to drive the effective delivery, oversight, and risk management for sanctions alerts escalations. Your role will involve leading the team activities in assessing and reviewing ABC risks escalated to Compliance and participating in ongoing oversight and governance forums.
To be successful as a Senior ABC Advisory Investment Bank VP at Barclays, you should have experience with;
An excellent understanding of operating in a financial crime environment with experience of the US FCPA, UK Bribery Act and other key anti-bribery laws, regulations, regulatory expectations
Acting as a team leader within a financial crime environment, leading the team in providing advice and guidance for business-critical decisions and risk mitigation strategies
Lead as the key anti-bribery and corruption representative at Financial Crime meetings including those with the business on key risk items and threats
Some other highly valued skills may include;
Experience as a leader in anti-bribery and corruption or financial crime
A solid understanding of banking products and services and its major customers including jurisdictional risks and geopolitical developments
Leading across multiple teams and jurisdictions
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
