Explore locationJoin us as a Senior Payments Product Manager, where you’ll shape and drive the delivery of a joined-up Domestic Payments and Digital Proposition in the Corporate Banking space. You’ll work across Product, Sales, Coverage, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Marketing to strengthen existing capabilities and contribute to the future roadmap.
You will manage payments products end-to-end, combining client insight with financial, operational, and risk considerations to deliver profitable, client-focused solutions. Working closely with the Digital Product team, you’ll ensure seamless integration across digital channels and act as a lead voice for the corporate payments proposition, engaging directly with clients when required.
The role requires strong knowledge of UK domestic payments (FPS, Bacs, CHAPS) in the corporate or commercial banking space, familiarity with digital channels and reporting tools, and experience assessing industry trends to inform strategy. You’ll also support training, product reviews, and regulatory compliance while identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role for someone with a proven track record in product delivery and cross-functional initiatives, thriving in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
To be successful as a Product Manager, you should possess:
Deep knowledge of UK domestic payments (FPS, Bacs, and CHAPS).
End-to-end payments expertise, with understanding of the full product lifecycle from development through delivery and ongoing management.
Familiarity with digital corporate banking channels such as Online, H2H, API, and ERP Adaptors/Plugins to support payments and cash management
Experience assessing trends and initiatives such as NPV, Open Banking, and cVRP, and incorporating these into payments product strategy and roadmap.
Proven track record of owning and successfully delivering product or cross-functional initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and implement enhancements to products, services, or operational processes.
Experience working in an agile environment, collaborating with technology teams and writing requirements, defining business outcomes then validating that they have been achieved
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Familiarity with cross-border payments, SEPA, and other clearing & settlement mechanisms (CSMs)
Understanding of payment technology providers and the integration of vendor solutions with internal systems.
Active involvement in or prior experience with Open Banking initiatives.
International Cash Management (ICM) certification

This role is based in London.
