Explore locationJoin us as a Wealth Planner and become a key member of a group delivering bespoke financial planning solutions to high-net-worth clients across the UK. Working closely with Private Bankers and Wealth Managers, you will provide bespoke financial advice on Pensions, Off-Shore Bonds, Protection and Tax Efficient investments helping clients achieve their wealth structuring needs. At Barclays, you’ll also have access to a network of specialists who will support you in delivering advice.
In this role, you’ll help foster long-term client relationships and offer highly technical, regulated advice to meet clients' financial goals, therefore playing a key part in our ambition to be the investment partner of choice for our clients, their families and the next generation. As all advice must comply with UK standards, you will also navigate the complexities of the UK regulatory framework.

To be successful as a Wealth Planner, you should have:
• RDR Level 4 Financial Planning qualification (and be prepared to work towards RDR Level 6).
• Previous financial planning experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and communicate multi-layered regulatory requirements effectively, with the ability to relate and accommodate a diverse range of personalities.
• Sound commercial judgement and overall understanding of Financial Services Industry, particularly the business impact of the regulatory environment
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Level 6 qualification.
• Attention to details.
• Experience working for a large organisation.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in London.
This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
